About Rachael

Serving Omaha since 2015.

Hi! My name is Rachael Griffin and I am a Licensed Mental Health Practitioner (LMHP) and Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). Thank you for taking the time to get to know more about me.

Working with children and families is my passion; throughout my time as a social worker I have worked with a variety of family structures- biological, foster, adoptive, step-parents, grandparents and kinship caregivers- and understand that each have similarities as well as their very own unique differences. No two children nor no two families are identical and the roadmap to healing in the therapeutic setting will be carefully assessed to reflect each of these unique individualized needs.  I have a wide range of experience working with youth and families who have experienced trauma and understand that trauma comes in many different forms and can manifest in a variety of ways- both internally and externally.

I am a strong believer in the power of play and the role that play has in healing trauma. I am also a strong believer in the power of connection. As a parent or caregiver you will hold a critical role in your child’s therapeutic journey and active participation is strongly encouraged. Play is not only engrained in my professional life but also in my personal life as I have two children ages 2 and 5 and I am a step-mother to two children ages 19 and 21. My husband and I live just outside of Omaha, NE and are also blessed with two grandchildren.
