Sarah Schuetz is a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner who is currently licensed in the state of Nebraska. She graduated from the University of Nebraska Medical Center with her BSN (Bachelor of Science in Nursing) in May 2012 and later earned her MSN (Master of Science in Nursing) at Mount Marty University in May 2021.
Prior to obtaining certification as an APRN (Advanced Practice Nurse), Sarah worked at multiple hospitals throughout the Omaha area, including Lasting Hope Recovery Center, Boys Town National Research Hospital, and Methodist Fremont Hospital. During her nursing experience, Sarah also traveled as a Psychiatric nurse, where she worked at 6 different hospitals throughout the United States.
She has experience working with individuals from across the lifespan (age 7 to 65) with a variety of mental health diagnoses, including mood and anxiety disorders, trauma and stressor related disorders, and disorders of childhood and adolescence. Sarah enjoys collaborating with clients to create a treatment plan that works best for them so that they can start to feel like themselves again.
The most rewarding part of working in mental health for Sarah is watching patients heal and grow through their treatment, as well as notice an improved quality of life.
